Modification to Continuous Modular Mills for increased production and energy savings
Certech’s Modification to Continuous Modular Mills is designed to increase the production capacity and improve the energy efficiency of your mills. This solution will allow you to achieve higher returns without the need to invest in new equipment.
The main benefits include:
- Complete control of the slip during the production process
- Increased production with the same capacity – The first module works like any normal continuous mill, with the grinding charge at the level of the material inlet auger. The modules are completely independent from each other. In the second and third module, having a double diaphragm both in and out, it is possible to raise the level of the grinding bodies up to 55% of the volume, greatly increasing the Kg of grinding load and consequently the points of contact between the grinding bodies that result in increased production.
- Significant energy savings during the work phase – Thanks to the raising of the grinding bodies and consequently of the slip in the second and third module, we are able to reduce energy consumption. In fact, it is technically proven that having the grinding bodiesat 55% of the volume, instead of 40% of the volume as in traditional continuous modular mills, helps to significantly reduce energy consumption.
- No changes from a plant perspective.
This modification makes it possible to increase the production capacity of existing equipment, allowing the production of a greater amount of products without investing in new machinery.
By reducing the need to invest in new equipment, this solution can contribute to more sustainable resource management and an overall reduction in environmental impact.
Thanks to more efficient production and lower costs, companies can gain a competitive advantage in the market, while keeping prices competitive.
