PPS Piston Pumps for ceramic slips
Pumps with plunger pistons are designed for feeding spray dryers and for transporting ceramic slips and dense liquids.
The pump consists of:
- two pistons driven by two hydraulic cylinders
suction and delivery valves that are easy to remove for quick pump inspection or cleaning - an air accumulator
- a pressure gauge
- a pressure relief valve that allows the operating pressure to be set to any value within the established limits
- a safety valve.
The pistons are coated in sintered alumina (this special coating guarantees
durability and resistance to the highly abrasive fluids) and have seals in special wear-proof material with a low friction coefficient.
